WESTCHESTER, Ill. (AP) - TreeHouse Foods Inc. said Friday it completed its $88.5 million cash purchase of San Antonio Farms, a Texas-based maker of salsa, cheese dip, and taco sauce.
San Antonio Farms sells to retail customers primarily under private label arrangements and to food service customers under the San Antonio Farms label. The company employs approximately 100 workers.
The company said San Antonio Farms' headquarters will remain in San Antonio. TreeHouse doesn't anticipate any significant changes to the existing operations.
