The DustPruf family of conveyors from Dorner Manufacturing (Hartland, WI) includes the 2300 and 5300 series, and now integrates SmartSlot technology into the frame. This slot provides all the integration and add-on capabilities of a T-slot, without the inherent drawbacks of slots that collect contaminants or debris. A streamlined frame design nearly eliminates all catch points where particulates or debris can collect. Additional features of the 2300 and 5300 conveyors include:
- An FDA-approved, low-friction coating on the bedplate that enables the motor to run 20 percent more efficiently, which lowers energy consumption.
- Self-tapping screws for the SmartSlot system, which require only a cordless drill to install.
- The availability of curved conveyors with the DustPruf 5300, plus the capability to make a 90-degree conveyor turn either left or right simply by flipping it over.
- Widths between 2” and 2’ on the 2300, and 3” and 3’ on the 5300.
