Toyota Material Handling Receives Most Valuable Supplier Award

Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. has earned the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association’s Most Valuable Supplier Award for 2018.

COLUMBUS, IN — Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) has earned the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association’s (MHEDA) prestigious Most Valuable Supplier (MVS) Award for 2018. This is the third consecutive year that Toyota Material Handling has earned this industry award created to recognize companies that have demonstrated an exemplary commitment to their dealer network, their employees and their community.

To qualify for the MVS Award, TMHU was required to meet a series of criteria in a number of areas important to the distributor companies that do business with them. In addition to confirming an on-going commitment to safety and documenting a program that “gives back,” MVS Award winners have demonstrated an overall commitment to business excellence by documenting programs in the following areas: industry advocacy, distributor advocacy, business networking, continued education and business best practices.

“One of our core values is a commitment to continuous improvement in all areas of our business,” said TMHU President Jeff Rufener. “It’s an honor to be recognized for our ongoing dedication to create the best possible experience for every customer, dealer and associate in the Toyota family.”

“MHEDA’s MVS Award winners represent a commitment to excellence in managing their business and in providing outstanding support to the distributor,” said Buddy Smith, MHEDA’s 2017 Chairman of the Board and CEO of CMH Services in Columbia, SC. “MHEDA is proud of all the MVS winners.”
