Gulf Seafood Trace is a full supply chain traceability and marketing program that confirms and communicates the validity of seafood products and increases confidence in their source throughout the market. The program is voluntary and complimentary and allows companies to import directly into the Trace Register from the established electronic trip ticket system. Potential gains include higher efficiency, source data sharing and increased demand. The program also incorporates a data quality and confirmation component to confirm the validity of the information being shared by businesses.
