The 2200 Series SmartFlex, from Dorner, is a flexible modular chain conveyor that can be configured to wrap around machinery and equipment in the packaging, food, medical and assembly industries. The conveyor platform is suitable for small-part handling, 
thanks to its power transfer features that smoothly transfers parts as small as 3” diameter on and off the conveyor for improved performance. The system is available in widths of 65 mm (2.6”), 105 mm (4.1”) and 150 mm (5.9”), can work at speeds up to 250 feet per minute and has a load capacity of up to 600 pounds. The power transfer can be integrated into the conveyor in two different designs: drive tail or idler end. The direction in which product is moving on the conveyor dictates which power transfer to use. Both options are driven from the conveyor’s motor. Multiple chain types are also available, including low friction, friction insert, conductive, cleated, roller top and magnet top. All the engineering tools and finished assemblies are provided, enabling customers to build complete conveyor assemblies to their exact layout dimensions and view it in 3D within minutes.
