Provisur Technologies Weiler introduces a line of heavy-duty grinders for meat grinding applications. These grinders 
include 8 5/8” (219mm), 11” (280mm), 14” (355mm) and 16” (400mm) diameter plates and can handle from 6000 lbs. (2721 kg) per hour up to 100,000 lbs. (45,359 kg) per hour. The heavy-duty grinders, which also are built with a spring-loaded knifeholder, replaceable inserts and knifeholder drive system, among other design features, grind a wide range of raw materials including beef, pork, poultry, mutton, seafood and veal. A Balanced Flow design allows for balanced and efficient product flow by matching the volume of raw material brought to the plate with the amount of raw material passing through the plate. As a result, less pressure is generated in the head section and raw material is protected against roll back. Operation is user-friendly with easy assembly and disassembly and wear indictors provide predictive maintenance and timely indication of the need to change parts.
