Larson Electronics has announced the release of a new cart mounted Explosion Proof Portable Tank Light, suitable for use in petrochemical 
tanks and storage containers on ships as well as any area where a portable lighting system providing high output and complying with hazardous location regulations is needed. The EPLC2-16C-150 LED cart has a removable lamp assembly measuring 16 inches in diameter to allow passage through most standard sized tank entry ways. The cart assembly is constructed from non sparking aluminum and is fitted with solid rubber wheels and integral lifting handles. The LED lamp head is constructed of lightweight aluminum with a shatterproof lens for durability, has a 60,000 hour life rating, and contains 12 high output LEDs capable of illuminating 10,000 square feet of work space. The lamp assembly is vertically and horizontally adjustable, with locking T-handle screws on each side. The unit can run from any voltage ranging from 120 to 277 VAC and T5 temperature rated for hazardous locations.
