According to the company, the EC35 is high resolution, meaning it is more accurate than Hall effect sensors, and provides simple assembly for OEM applications. The encoder is ideal for high volume, low cost motion control appliactions, and has a variety of features:

  • A/B/Z differential outputs.
  • Frequency response from DC to 400 kHz.
  • 500 to 1,000 cycles per revolution (CPR).
  • 2,000 to 40,000 quadrature states per revolution.
  • U/V/W communication outputs.
  • Fits shaft diameters from 0.197" (5mm) to 0.394" (10mm).
