(AP) — Attala Steel Industries is unveiling a new, $5 million galvanizing facility that will allow the company to coat steel, in addition to the steel processing it already does at the Kosciusko facility. The company has 34 employees and plans to hire 11 more. Attala Steel invested $5 million in the project. The Mississippi Development Authority provided $50,000 to help the company transport heavy equipment. Attala Steel's facility produces steel I-beams used in solar panel installations. The company has operated in Kosciusko since 2006.
