Talk about a picker-upper. A company in Texas is recalling one of its products because it was apparently making men too aroused.

According to an Associated Press report, Bestherbs Coffee decided to voluntarily recall its “New Of Kopi Jantan Tradisional Natural Herbs Coffee” after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration found that it contained several undeclared ingredients including desmethyl carbodenafil — a chemical similar to sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra.

The brand is marketed as a coffee that includes “all-natural” male enhancement supplements such as Tongkat Ali, Maca and Guarana.

This recall is the third of its kind in the last year. The other two also involved coffees that supposedly include Tongkat Ali.

But an ABC News report in 2014 showed that the root is very difficult to harvest — raising questions about its availability for use on a mass scale. For this reason, coffee sellers have been known to swap Tongkat Ali with desmethyl carbonenafil instead.

No injuries have been associated with the Bestherbs Coffee. But the FDA is reportedly concerned that it could interact with other medications and lower blood pressure to a dangerous level.
