DuPont Technology Innovations Showcased at Semicon

The DuPont Taiwan team demonstrates the power of collaboration at Semicon Taiwan 2010.

DuPont Taiwan continues to demonstrate its mission of staying close to customers by participating in key customer activities and providing timely support to growth partners.

One example of DuPont Taiwan’s mission in action is how several DuPont businesses worked together to showcase their latest technologies and expand their market presence at Semicon Taiwan 2010.

Highlighted were a broad and growing portfolio of technologies, materials and businesses serving the semiconductor industry. These included:

  • DuPont EKC Technology
  • DuPont Wafer Level Packaging (WLP) Solutions
  • DuPont™ Vespel® parts and shapes
  • Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer parts
  • DuPont™ Teflon® fluoropolymer resins and coatings
  • DuPont™ Zyron® electronic gases
  • DA NanoMaterials
  • HD Microsystems.

"In the fast-growing semiconductor industry in Taiwan, we are providing innovative solutions and advanced thinking to meet customers' needs better and faster," said Steve Chen, president – DuPont Taiwan.

"Taiwan is expected to generate increased demand for DuPont materials moving forward, as the market is estimated to reach $8.8 billion in 2011,” Steve said. “Being involved in one of the most important semiconductor equipment and materials events, we are able to closely feel the pulse of market trends, and enhance and develop customer relationships by personal interactions.”

Semicon Taiwan is the largest semiconductor equipment and materials event in the region. It featured 550 exhibiting companies with 1,000 exhibits and attracted 24,000 visitors.
