Qualcomm’s Circle of Service Workflow Application to Be Integrated with McLeod LoadMaster System

– September 26, 2011 – Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM), a leading provider of integrated wireless systems, applications and services to transportation and logistics companies, and McLeod Software, a leading software provider for the trucking industry, today announced the integration of Qualcomm’s Circle of Service Workflow application with McLeod’s LoadMaster® Enterprise trucking dispatch operations management system. When incorporated into the LoadMaster suite, the Circle of Service Workflow application will help both drivers and dispatchers better manage load assignments, automated event triggers and pre-filled work process forms.

Circle of Service Workflow helps carriers transform their business by intelligently capturing and delivering crucial information as it happens and is needed. The application helps fleets improve the driver and customer experiences with features that include a list of scheduled stops and automated arrival and departure detection with latitude and longitude. Additionally, just-in-time prompts and exception notifications help drivers reduce their dependence on back-office staff for key information.

LoadMaster is a complete package, fully integrated trucking dispatch operations management system and a complete accounting software solution designed for the transportation business. McLeod customers are able to tailor the LoadMaster dispatch solution to their own unique business processes while taking advantage of a robust and broad set of functional capabilities. The addition of Qualcomm’s Circle of Service Workflow functionality to the already robust LoadMaster system affords trucking fleets of all sizes a uniquely encompassing solution that allows for greater efficiency throughout the load dispatch process.

“The integration of our Circle of Service Workflow application with the LoadMaster system will deliver enhanced fleet management capabilities to our joint customers,” said Norm, Ellis, vice president of sales, services, and marketing at Qualcomm Enterprise Services. “Fleets that adopt this combined solution will reduce driver training time, increase dispatch visibility into fleet operations and improve regulatory compliance.”

“McLeod LoadMaster aims to provide customers with an enterprise-wide solution, from dispatch to accounting, and by teaming up with Qualcomm to integrate their Circle of Service Workflow application into our product, we can further enhance the value of our solution to our customers,” says Tom McLeod, chief executive officer and founder of McLeod Software. “Fleets will benefit from improved operational efficiency, resulting in superior customer service, driver productivity and asset utilization.”

More information on the integrated offering will be available in the Qualcomm booth at the McLeod Users Conference, Sept. 25-27 in Chicago, Ill.
