ISHPEMING, Mich. (AP) -- The Tilden Mine in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is resuming iron ore pellet production after being stopped for about a week to replace an electric cable.
Cleveland-based Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. tells WLUC-TV (https://bit.ly/J5woaC ) that pellet production is scheduled to resume on Friday night at the mine near Ishpeming.
Pellet production stopped May 10 after a high temperature reading was found in the cable. Another shutdown is planned in early June for maintenance.
