Harvest Technologies, one of North America's preeminent additive manufacturing service bureaus, is celebrating its 15th anniversary and recent expansion at a new location in the Belton Business Park. The company will be hosting an Open House & Ribbon Cutting Event on Thursday, August 19th sponsored by the Belton Economic Development Corporation and Belton Area Chamber of Commerce. "We applaud their success throughout their 15 years of operation in the community and are very pleased that they chose Belton," stated Tommy Baker, Executive Director of the BEDC.

The newly reconfigured facility is streamlined for maximum work flow and optimal quality control. CEO David K. Leigh said, "We have been very fortunate to be able to grow and expand given the current economy. This new facility has enabled us to gain critical efficiencies in current operations and has set the stage for future production growth. This new facility reinforces our commitment to and leadership in advanced additive manufacturing."

Harvest Technologies manufactures functional prototypes, show models, casting patterns, tooling fixtures & jigs, and end-use parts from 3D CAD data. The company serves a wide variety of industries including consumer products, aerospace/aviation, medical devices, engineering & design, automotive, gas & oil, industrial equipment and the U.S. Military.

Harvest opened in 1995 as a one-person one-machine home based business. Over the next few years the company began serving numerous small to midsized companies throughout North America, as well as large-scale clients such as Ryobi Power Tools, GE Fanuc Automation, General Motors, Whirlpool and Hasbro.
