A western Pennsylvania sewage plant employee is dead after he apparently drove a riding lawn mower into a wastewater pond.

Indiana County Coroner Michael Baker says 64-year-old Joseph Sisitki, of Bolivar, died Wednesday afternoon at the Tri-Community Sewer Authority plant in Robinson. Baker says Sisitki apparently drowned.

Sisitki's body was discovered by his daughter, who went looking for him when he didn't return for work.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday morning. State police are investigating.
