Dey Warns Against Using Stolen Drugs

Respiratory drugmaker warning against purchase or use of some cartons of Albuterol Sulfate Inhalation Solution that were on a stolen tractor trailer.

NAPA, Calif. (AP) -- Respiratory drugmaker Dey L.P. is warning against the purchase or use of some cartons of Albuterol Sulfate Inhalation Solution that were on a stolen tractor trailer.

Dey, a subsidiary of Mylan Inc., said Wednesday products in the stolen cartons may be a health risk because a temperature-controlled supply chain might have been broken. Dey said the shipment had not made it to the commercial market before the theft, which happened in McKinney, Texas.

The lot numbers are 9FE2 and 9GO1. The product's NDC number is 49502-697-29, and each carton displays the brand name "DEY" and contains 30 three-milliliter, single-dose vials.
