CHF Industries' textile plant in Fall River, Mass., will end manufacturing operations in March, resulting in the loss of 84 jobs.

FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) — A Fall River textile plant will end manufacturing operations in March, resulting in the loss of 84 jobs.
 
The plant — which makes curtains — is owned by Charlotte, North Carolina-based CHF Industries. The company said in a statement that there was no longer a demand for the product made at the Fall River plant.
 
CHF will continue to operate a distribution facility at the site.
 
In 1995, the company closed a plant that employed 225 people in New Bedford.
