NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Governor Bobby Jindal is in South Carolina on an economic development trip, trying to lure a steelmaker to south Louisiana.

Jindal left early Wednesday and had a meeting scheduled with the firm's chief executive. He's set to return Wednesday evening.
