U.S. Components To Bring Jobs To West Point

The opening of a new manufacturing facility will bring over 100 jobs to the area.

Virginia Gov. Timothy M. Kaine announced Tuesday that U.S. Components LLC, a manufacturer of roof, floor and wall trusses, will invest $6.4 million in its first Virginia manufacturing facility in the West Point Industrial Park, creating 104 new jobs.

U.S. Components, based in Moorestown, NJ,  is the manufacturing division of Pro-Build Holdings, Inc., a leading supplier of building materials to professional contractors.

A $100,000 grant from the Governor’s Opportunity Fund will be used to help fund the project, along with a $700,000 Virginia Community Development Block Grant from the Virginia Dept. of Housing and Community Development.
