FLINT, Mich. (AP) -- General Motors says it will spend $328 million to update a factory in Flint, Mich., that will build new pickup trucks.

The investment will create or preserve 150 jobs at the site, which now employs 2,047 people.

GM says the factory will produce full-size Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups.

The investment is part of $2 billion GM is spending to create or retain about 4,000 jobs in eight states over the next 18 months.
