CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Automotive supplier Robert Bosch LLC is expanding its plant in Dorchester County, S.C., and will add about 300 jobs during the next five years.
Gov. Mark Sanford was on hand Friday to help announce the $125 million expansion.
The new jobs will be in manufacturing the company's latest passenger car diesel and gasoline fuel injectors and a new generation of antilock brake parts.
The company currently employs more than 1,500 people making diesel, gasoline and chassis products. It has operated the plant for 36 years.
