KITCHENER, Ont. (CP) -- A Kitchener-based solar panel maker is opening a manufacturing plant in Guelph, Ont.
Canadian Solar Inc. will announce the location of its new Solar Module Manufacturing Facility in Ontario during a news conference in Guelph on Wednesday morning.
The company says it will create at least 300 jobs when it unveils the facility.
It's estimated the plant will cost up to $24 million.
Ontario's Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Brad Duguid is expected to attend the event.
