WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin Rapids is getting a new factory that is expected to create about 400 jobs.
Mayor Mary Jo Carson said Energy Composites Corp. plans to begin construction on the 350,000 square foot plant as soon as this spring.
She said the new factory will produce blades for wind turbines.
Carson said Energy Composites is the parent company of Advanced Fiberglass, which has a plant already operating in Wisconsin Rapids.
