Automotive Supplier Adding 170 Jobs At Headquarters

Toyota Boshuko America is expanding its white-collar work force in northern Kentucky that will double the number of personnel at the headquarters.

ERLANGER, Ky. (AP) -- Automotive supplier Toyota Boshuko America is expanding its white-collar work force in northern Kentucky.
 
The company announced Wednesday it's adding 170 jobs at its headquarters which opened last September in Erlanger.
 
The positions will pay $60,000 to $70,000 annually.
 
The expansion will more than double the number of personnel at the headquarters, bringing total employment to 270.
 
Toyota Boshuko America supplies interior components and oil filters to the Toyota auto assembly plant in Georgetown and sells to other carmakers, including General Motors.
 
The company is eligible for state and local tax breaks up to $1.75 million.
