COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (AP) -- Workers at a Council Bluffs iron water pipe company have rejected the company's latest contract offer.
Members of United Steelworkers Local 3141 voted against Griffin Pipe's offer on Saturday.
The company locked out nearly 270 workers on Jan. 28 because of failed contract talks.
Union officials say that employees are willing to work while negotiations take place.
The last contract expired on Nov. 7 and union workers have rejected contract offers because of attempts to eliminate worker seniority rights and new requirements for mandatory overtime.
