NEW YORK (AP) — Simpson Manufacturing Co., which makes connectors and venting systems, said Wednesday it is negotiating a labor contract renewal at a facility in Stockton, Calif.
In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Simpson Manufacturing said there is a chance work could be suspended briefly at the plant. The company said it doesn't anticipate a possible pause in production to materially affect its sales or profits.
Shares of the Pleasanton, Calif.-based company fell 89 cents, or 2.7 percent, to close at $32.41.
