KOKOMO, Ind. - The United Steelworkers Local 2958 (USW) announced Tuesday that its membership did not ratify a tentative collective bargaining agreement between the USW and Haynes International, Inc.
The agreement was announced on Monday and would have covered 514 employees at Haynes International’s Kokomo, Indiana plant and Lebanon, Indiana service center.
Employees will continue to work under the existing agreement, which was extended through June 30, 2007.
The USW and Haynes International will return to negotiations the week of June 18, 2007.
