Bloomberg’s Sam Grobart investigates the robotic revolution at CES 2015. He finds that, while CES featured a lot of robotics start-ups for consumer robots, the innovation in automation is mostly behind the scenes. Grobart concludes that the robots designed to help us out with basic tasks, or just for fun, are still in the future. The amazing innovation happening with robots today is found at distribution centers and factories, and we’ll have to wait a little longer to see that technology marketed commercially.
