Wilcoxon Research (Germantown, MD) introduces two compact industrial accelerometers, the 780B and 780C, rounding out the family of narrow, low-profile, and lightweight sensors. Both sensors are 100 mV/g general purpose vibration sensors, with the 780B featuring a +10 percent sensitivity tolerance, and the 780C featuring a +15 percent tolerance. The 780 family have an 80G acceleration range, and can output their data through a standard 2-pin, MIL-C-5015 connector that is compatible with existing data collection infrastructures. The sensors are housed in a 316L stainless steel enclosure, which is hermetically sealed, ESD protected, and EMI/RFI shielded.
