Mettler Toledo (Columbus, OH) introduces the BBA449 counting scale that allows molding machine operators to more effectively supervise their machines. The colorWeight display alerts operators if boxes are full with a visible display—useful for operators responsible for multiple machines. The color change—which ranges from light blue to green, yellow, or red—can be set with the numerical keyboard. The counting scale can also be interacted with via RS232 or digital I/O, which can shut down the machine automatically if the box is filled.
