Pinpoint Laser Systems (Peabody, MA) introduces two bore alignment accessories for the Laser Microgage line. These new mounts can accommodate bore diameters as large as 3’, and as small as 2 ½”. The Laser Microgage projects a visible reference beam that extends out to 180 feet and is accurate within 0.0005” for precision shaft and bore placement. The new bore mounts are made of solid aluminum components with stainless steel hardware. They support a digital laser receiver that views the laser reference beam and provides precise information on the location of the bore tube or flange assembly. In addition, a digital display provides an accurate readout of the measurement location.
