The Cincinnati (Harrison, OH) Modular Material Handling System (MMHS) boosts the productivity of its CL-800 series of dual-pallet laser cutting systems, reducing cost-per-part and allowing unattended operation for up to three shifts via an automated load/unload of raw materials and finished parts.

The overhead rail design allows shops to tailor automated sheet and part handling to existing floor space while assuring easy system expansion to serve multiple laser cutting systems as productivity grows. Other features include:

  • A cell controller, transporter, and safety system as standard.
  • Optional over/under carts, capable of carrying up to 12,000 lbs. each.
  • A touch-screen controller that sends programs to the laser and controls all automated functions, while logging inventory depletion.
  • Handling of sheet thicknesses from 20 gage to ¾”.
