The new E4400 flue gas analyzer from E Instruments International (Langhome, PA) is designed for emissions monitoring and the maintenance and tuning of combustion processes. Usable for boiler, engine, and furnace applications, the E4400 offers up to four gas sensors (O2, CO, NO, and NO2 or SO2) and can also measure temperature and pressure. The E4400 is low NOx capable with 0.1ppm resolution. Its internal data memory can remember up to 900 tests and the meter has a USB port and built-in printer. It is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery pack.
