Electrical equipment manufacturer Baldor Electric Co. said Monday it will pay a third-quarter dividend of 17 cents a share.
The dividend will be paid Oct. 8 to common stock holders of record as of Sept. 17.
The company, based in Fort Smith, Ark., last week said second-quarter net income nearly tripled as it sold more electric motors and related products.
Shares of Baldor rose $1.02, or 2.7 percent, to close Monday at $39.34 a share.
