MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) -- Electrical components maker Thomas & Betts Corp. said it will buy JT Packard & Associates Inc. for approximately $22 million in order to expand its power service operations.
JT Packard, an independent provider of critical power equipment used by industrial and commercial businesses, had 2009 sales of about $60 million.
Thomas & Betts said late Wednesday that the acquisition will likely close on Jan. 26.
