Based upon their quick returns from the first installation, within just a few months they connected a second production line to Worximity. KEY OBJECTIVES Dave Lamothe, VP Operations and Marie-Christine Lussier, Production Director, had specific goals in mind while implementing TileBoard at Première Moisson. They needed to get better control over various plant lines by making data ubiquitous. They wanted to make sure that employees were meeting production targets and were informed in real time by setting up alarms and receiving immediate emails. They also wanted to increase the productivity of bread lines with the same number of resources by providing employees an overall snapshot of plant performance. IMPLEMENTATION The TileConnect smart sensors were installed on an industrial guillotine and at the end of bread and pastry lines. KPIs on downtime and productivity are sent in real time in TileBoard as the optical sensors measure units with accuracy and reliability. Computers are used through the plant to keep track of downtime causes and select the right product being processed while TV screens show real-time KPIs through the factory .

The bread and pastry lines are monitored in real time and the collected data can be directly accessed bu the Worximity Smart Factory Analytics dashboard at any time and anywhere for a global and precise picture of current operations. Within a few months, Première Moisson has achieved record efficiency and significant clear, attributable improvement across production KPIs.
