Some encouraging news came out of Washington this past week: The nation's economy added 103,000 jobs in December and the unemployment rate dropped to 9.4 percent last month, its lowest level in 19 months. While some economists expected better news from the Labor Department's most recent job report, it is a move in the right direction. Now the question must be asked... Can there be sustained improvement?
