It is the goal of many airports to increase efficiency and reduce the emissions of airplanes. The key to unlocking congestion, saving fuel (and money) may lie in a technology normally used for organizing pit stops. This technology will map runways like they would a Formula 1 track in order to cut back on harmful emissions.
