Last week, Obama tapped Jeffrey Immelt, the CEO of GE, to head a new White House Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. In a string of attempts to reach out to business leaders around the country, Obama and Immelt will hope to create a business climate that is more conducive to job creation and retention. Everyone at "The Morning Joe" agrees that tapping the CEO of a major manufacturer is probably a good move, but will it be enough to encourage job growth?
