When designs are then edited or reused, this interface can save important time otherwise spent trying to understand the correct way to interact with what might be a complex parametric model. In addition to design models, Product Templates can also include design validation, documentation, and simulation (including Finite Element Analysis and/or Kinematic/Dynamic analysis.) Product Templates then become intelligent, self-validating, modular units of design that can be snapped together to form larger systems of templates.
