L-com (North Andover, MA) now carries 19” rack panels with right-angle CAT5e keystone-mount couplers. The new rack panels allow users to patch Category 5e cables at 90° angles. According to the company, this allows IT professionals to save Category 5e cables from sharp bends. L-com will be carrying the new rack panels in four versions:
- a 1 rack unit (1U) unshielded version with 16 couplers
- a 2U unshielded version with 32 couplers
- a 1U shielded version with 16 couplers
- a 2U shielded version with 32 couplers
