Falcon Electric (Irwindale, CA), a manufacturer of on-line uninterruptible power supplies, announced it has added Lithium-Ion batteries as an option to its 1500VA model of its SSG Series Industrial Grade UPS Plus. The SSG Series is a true double-conversion on-line sinewave regenerative UPS that offers a high level of power protection that tolerates many of the elements found in these harsh environments. Due to its rugged design, the U.L. listed SSG Series is capable of withstanding elevated temperatures of up to 131º Fahrenheit (F) (55º Celsius). The SSG Series, which is available in 1500VA, 2200VA and 3000VA configurations, can be placed in an equipment rack or installed as a stand-alone tower in close proximity to the critical load.
