Kalpoxy, a wear-resistant epoxy-bonded hard compound, is now available from Abresist (Urbana, IN). The compound contains more than 70 percent solids, and can be used as a jointless lining for structural components and repairs. Kalpoxy can be cured at 68°F in approximately 24 hours. The hard compound is easily applied to nearly any surface and can be mixed on-site with simple tools and applied by trowel.
