The PYPLOK® fittings from Tube-Mac Industries Ltd. (Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada) are a non-weld, 360° radial swaged connection for tubing and pipes. The fittings range in size from ¼” to 3” and can withstand pressures up to 9,000 psi. In addition, the swaging action produces a leak-free and tamper-proof connection. Because the swaging action is a cold mechanical process, the system does not need to be purged and thoroughly cleaned prior to making a connection. According to the company, the fittings can also be installed by any employee following a short training period.
