Raytek (Santa Cruz, CA) has introduced the ThermoView Pi20 process image and accompanying DataTemp Pi (DTPi) software. The easy-to-use thermal imaging system provides an expanded view of process performance in industrial applications, according to the company. The system is designed for automated monitoring and control of continuous or stationary targets, allowing technicians to shorten process startup times and lower production line changeover costs. Additional features include:
- Two available temperature ranges: -40 to 932°F, and 392 to 3632°F, plus two lens options for each: 21.7° x 16° or 30° x 22°.
- Use of the Ethernet interface, which transmits up to 30 frames per second of imaging data from the camera.
- Optional fiber optic accessories that allow cable runs of beyond 300’, which eliminates the need to place the PC operating the DataTemp Pi software in a hazardous area.
- Support for up to 16 Pi20 cameras simultaneously in a single software package.
