The Precision Controls Divison (PCD) of Marsh Bellofram Corporations (Newell, WV) has announced the Type 78, which is a direct-acting air pressure regulator designed to offer high accuracy, large flow, and exhaust capabilities. The regulators are available in port sizes of 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, and NPT and BPST, with 1/4 NPT gauges. With output ranges of up to 125 psi, the regulators offer fine adjustment sensitivity with maximum pressures of 400 psig, and achievable flow rates of well over 200 SCFM. Other features include die-cast zinc and aluminum housings, and a balanced pintle, which minimizes output pressure changes caused by fluctuations in supply pressure.
