The Right Gear For Electrical Testing

Technicians working around hazardous equipment and high-voltage circuits could benefit from the clamp meters and four-channel handheld oscilloscopes from Fluke (Everett, WA). The test tools all exceed tough international standards for safe use in 480 volt electrical environments, and allow technicials—who must test live circuits—to do so at a safe distance.

The test tools all exceed tough international standards for safe use in 480 volt electrical environments, and allow technicials—who must test live circuits—to do so at a safe distance. The Fluke 381, 376, 375, and 374 current clamps and iFlex current probes are rated for use in measurement category IV environments (CAT IV 600V, CAT III 1000V). The detachable display of the Fluke 381 Clamp Meter enables technicians to see measurements from up to 33 feet away, or when the test circuit is enclosed in an equipment cabinet.
