Gateway Safety (Cleavland, OH) has introduced its newest product: Ingot Safety Eyewear. For those searching for safety glasses that don’t look like safety glasses, Ingot provides a metal-frame look.

The Ingot frame is manufactured with a specialized paint coating to provide a metal look in either gold or gunmetal options.  Its polycarbonate material provides light weight and all-day comfort. Soft rubber temples and fingertip nosepiece keeps safety glasses in place.

The eyewear is available in eight frame/lens combinations, including a new 24K Gold Mirror, a new lens color that provides a full mirror from edge to edge. It also offers 99.9 percent UV-A, B & C protection.

Ingot is independently tested and certified by Underwriters Laboratories to meet ANSI Z87.1+ and CSA Z94.3 standards. It also meets ballistic impact resistance requirements for eyewear in US Military Performance Specification MIL PRF-31013.
