The “i” series components from Schmalz Inc. communicates all important process data up to the master level, via an IO link as an open interface. Comprehensive energy and process control functions also provide information on the energy consumption, status and predictive maintenance of the system.
Schmalz has taken things a step further by presenting its first NFC compatible products at the Hanover Fair: the compact terminal SCTMi and the vacuum and pressure switch VSi. Data can be read directly on a smartphone using this interface.
