VICI Valco’s new assortment of PEEK Tubing is available in a variety of natural PEEK, solid color coded, dual layer color coded, striped and dash-stripe coded. According to the company, Dual Layer Color-Coded eliminates any concern that a critical sample stream could be contaminated by pigments used to color code the tubing. It looks like any other color-coded tubing at first glance, but a closer look reveals that the pigmented layer surrounds a separate but integrally bonded inner layer of natural PEEK. The pressure performance is equivalent to single-layer tubing.
OD sizes are available in 360 micron, 1/32 inch, 1/16 inch and 1/8 inch with IDs as small as .002 inches. Color-coding identifies the ID of the PEEK tubing – each ID is coded with a different color. Standard ID sizes and colors are: .005 inches Red; .007 inches Yellow; .010 inches Blue; .020 inches Orange; .030 inches Green.
